RTL-SDR for Linux Quick Start Guide:

With a $25 dongle and a modest computer you already have, you can setup a Software Defined Radio / Spectrum Analyzer that covers everything from 24MHz to 1.8GHz.

CubicSDR, an effective easy to install and use SDR application.

CubicSDR makes listening to FM radio fun again.

There’s a lot of good info online, unfortunately much of it tends to focus on Windows. Many of the guides for Linux tend to make assumptions about user level or deal with software that’s very pre-alpha. It may look like SDR on Linux is a chore, but it doesn’t have to be and this guide will show you how to be up and running in minutes.

I’ve presented it as a .pdf file on a static page under the ‘Radio’ menu. Feel free to download or distribute it as needed.
