Flowers in zee garden!
Spring has sprung, the flowers are out … and the bugs are not far behind. Pollen is in the air and those woodpeckers are bangin’ on my metal chimney every day at 7am sharp. The purple bearded iris are from my Grandmother’s garden back East. They were very special to her. She passed away decades ago but we brought some bulbs home with us and have kept them going ever since. As they proliferate, I plan to give some to my neighbors in hopes that in some way her spirit shall live on.
The flowers themselves are pretty big and tend to droop, shown here I’ve used a tomato cage thingee for support.
