Dam Flood!

In February of 2008, the Phoenix Metro area received … above average rainfall, to say the least. In the City of Tempe, they built a large inflatable dam across the Salt River to create the Tempe Town Lake. Designed to deal with excessive rainfall without damage, it seemed to perform as designed.
